Venture Capital fund focused on ed-tech start-ups.
What are the key trends you believe have the power to transform the way we learn?
As far as technology is concerned, I am excited about the opportunities for artificial intelligence to superpower teaching and learning and for technologies that bring students, teachers and parents closer together.
The theme of EdTechXEurope 2018 is ‘Eternally Learning’. What does eternal learning mean to you?
It implies that in a world of increasing automation, learning is becoming a necessity for humans throughout their lives, much like food and other basic needs.
What should the rest of the world learn about EdTech in your country?
With the advent of bottoms-up school technology adoption, the quality of products that teachers and students are using compares in par with best in class consumer applications. Developers have to be aware of those UX expectations from users.
Why is it important for all players in the EdTech ecosystem to continuously connect, network and learn from each other?
Avoiding reinventing the wheel, learning from other's past mistakes and helping each other scale faster greatly benefits entrepreneurs, startups and ultimately learners.
How does your current role allow you to make a difference to education and learning space?
We invest in the most promising, impactful and innovative edtech companies and help them scale, particularly in the US market.
Who would you like to meet at the event?
Startups in ECE/K12/HE/LL.
