What are the key trends you believe have the power to transform the way we learn?

An ever increasing understanding of how traditional school systems have failed millions of children, and an understanding that technology has the potential to bring out the autodidact in every child.

The theme of EdTechXEurope 2018 is ‘Eternally Learning’. What does eternal learning mean to you?

Learning how to learn at an early age allows for meaningful lifelong learning at any age.

What should the rest of the world learn about EdTech in your country?

There is a lot of flim-flam in the ed-tech space in the US. Are the majority of companies/individuals in this space truly out for the best interest of the child in ways that transform learning?

Why is it important for all players in the EdTech ecosystem to continuously connect, network and learn from each other?

Because in the final analysis, the whole will be greater than the sum of its parts. If we can take pieces from the best of what is out there, the day will come when every child will have access to quality learning delivered on a platform we can't yet imagine.

How does your current role allow you to make a difference to education and learning space?

We are challenging people to think differently on not only how children self-learn, but on how to think about designing both software and hardware for the bottom billion.

Who would you like to meet at the event?

People and organizations thinking deeply on designing for the bottom billion.
