What are the key trends you believe have the power to transform the way we learn?

Online learning is in many ways still in it's infancy. It will keep developing with new technologies to being a real and working option for onsite training. Cloud services will be a key factor in moving from a webinar to a true interactive training/workshop over the web.

The theme of EdTechXEurope 2018 is ‘Eternally Learning’. What does eternal learning mean to you?

It is where corporate life is heading towards. Automation will take over routine work and leave us to do the thinking. I'm not saying that there will be no work left, I think there will be more work but very different. We need to change our mindset from a 9-5 work day to constant learning and constant development.

What should the rest of the world learn about EdTech in your country?

Finland is a forerunner of digital technology in learning. We're quick to implement new ways and models and I think that should be one of our main exports.

Why is it important for all players in the EdTech ecosystem to continuously connect, network and learn from each other?

Digital technology and networks have an uncanny power to share innovations at an incredible speed. Look at medicine for example. If a new cure is developed today, tomorrow everyone will have it. It should be the same with learning.

How does your current role allow you to make a difference to education and learning space?

Our company has been developing a Training as a Service model for some years now with the idea that ICT training needs to be for everyone at the company not just the specific few. A combination of Onsite, distance and Online learning enables us to keep the expenses in check while increasing the effectiveness of all employees. With our clients we've become more and more sure that this is the right way to go and we see that this will have a huge impact on the future of corporate learning.

When you think about joining London EdTech Week and EdTechXEurope Summit this year, what are you looking forward to?

This will be my first time so I'm hoping to be amazed in every possible way.
