Sarah advises investors, education companies, and EdTech founders around the world.

How does your current role allow you to make a difference to the education and learning space?

I work closely with founding teams as they face some of the most critical talent planning, operational growth, and fundraising milestones in their early stages. With 16+ years of experience in launching and leading education enterprises, I bring experience in international operations, expansion/scale, human capital strategy, and investor relations to each conversation and every enterprise.

What are the key trends you believe have the power to transform the way we learn?

EdTech is often looked at as synonymous with K-12; which can be limiting as a concept. In fact, EdTech applies to innovation in every place and space where learning and teaching is happening-- and this is in every industry and marketplace. I am looking for companies that are innovating in K-12 and from preK to grey and across sectors, agnostic of geography, language, and outside the standard classroom.

Why is it important for all players in the EdTech ecosystem to continuously connect, network and learn from each other?

EdTech is a small world. To continue to make impact across all of education, connecting and raising the bar across the industry is critical to scale. "If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else." – Booker T. Washington

What should the rest of the world learn about EdTech innovation in your country?
 
Innovations in learning and teaching are what a country can implement to maximise the human potential of its citizens.
