In collaboration with a selection of global partners and judges, we are pleased to announce the inaugural EdTechX Challenge - a virtual student competition to source the best ideas that can transform the future of learning and work worldwide.

Students are invited to identify key problems in education and submit ideas, frameworks, products, or proposals to help solve them. We believe that bringing people together for an exchange of ideas— from students to industry leaders, to academics and entrepreneurs— has the power to catalyze innovation and we'd love for you to join us as we help accelerate the learning industry.

Over the next three months, students aged 18 and older from all majors/minors or non-traditional education paths are encouraged to participate to form teams and ideate creative solutions to the biggest problems in education.

There are four overarching categories that we request students use as a framework for submitting their ideas - listed below >

Submission Categories for 2021 EdTechX Challenge

Starting in mid-january 2021, participants will be able to express their interest to participate and connect with others to form a team via our private Slack channel. Submissions will be accepted until the end of March 2021 before the selection process begins - with the competition culminating in an awards ceremony in May 2021.

A panel of global judges will help select group of finalists with a wide-spectrum of professionals to connect, exchange ideas, and collectively drive the industry forward. In addition, all finalists will be invited to join our exclusive talent network and have their profiles shared with our partners/sponsors for contracting, internship, or full-time work opportunities.
